Colored Pencils
Crayola's colored pencils are easy to use, affordable and can be used for coloring on-the-go. I prefer the 36 color box since it gives more variety which is especially helpful for shading or coloring more of the details.
Pencil Sharpener
Prismacolor's pencil sharpener is one of my favorites. It has two holes, one for a fine point tip and one for a wide point tip. I also like the small container that catches the pencil shavings.
Crayons
Crayola's Twistables are a step up from the regular box of crayons. I like how they are easy to hold, never require sharpening, and don't leave waxy bits after coloring.
Acrylic Paint Markers
Ohuhu's acrylic paint markers are safe, non-toxic water-based ink that offer vibrant colors. These markers can be used on glass, plastic, metal, stone, wood, canvas, paper, gift boxes, and more.
Accordion Watercolor Book
Hahnemuhle's Zigzag Accordian Watercolor Book is one of my favorite watercolor notebooks. The entire book is connected and folds neatly within itself - like an accordion. These are great for a series of illustrations or to bring on a trip to document the collection of memories - all separate but perfectly linked together.
